A former journalist, artist manager, and label strategist, she has spoken on industry panels from Canadian Music Week to Iceland Airwaves, served as a JUNO Awards juror, and helped secure millions in public arts funding. She writes about culture, power, and the stories that shape who gets remembered, and is currently working on a memoir about life behind the scenes of Canadian music. Her writing has appeared in publications including CBC, Xtra!, and Metro News Ottawa.
